Weight Loss with Dan Marino (aka Dan Marino Diet)

In addition to Sprayflex, I also used the Nutrisystem prepackaged meals for my initial weight loss. Last fall Nutrisystem hired several former pro athletes as spokespeople. Most notable of the group was Dan Marino and his 22 pound weight loss. Some have now dubbed this the Dan Marino Diet.

My results were'nt as dramatic as Dan Marino's, but I did drop 14 pounds in the first month and another 8 pounds the second month. Since September of 2006, I've now lost 34 pounds in total and have increased my muscle mass.

Some people will try to twist their weight loss numbers, e.g. I lost 12 pounds of fat and added 8 pounds of muscle. Net, they lost 4 pounds. Sure they also lost some inches from the fat to muscle conversion, but psychologically, it is only a 4 pound loss.

My net loss has been 34 pounds in 6 months. My pant size has dropped from a 40 (a slightly loose 40 for comfort) and am now in a 36.
